In relations with ZUS, you have to be very careful, because it is an institution devoid of a mission, not necessarily due to its own fault, and thus devoid of soul, not contacting, not talking.
You have to be careful then, there will be arrears on the payer’s side, also completely accidental. If we run a business, the Social Insurance Institution, even if it has corresponded to the company’s address for the last 20 years, in the case of a request for payment or enforcement, it remembers about the address of residence, which we often forget for years. And there he sends all the correspondence which, of course, does not reach the addressee.
What is worse, ZUS claims that sending to a private address is justified by the provision of Art. 42 par. 1 of the Code of Administrative Procedure, which is obviously not true, as this provision provides for service to natural persons in their home or workplace. And because ZUS is a total institution that uses total rights, so without our knowledge it takes up the account, enters the mortgage on an apartment and so on.
